I’ve been working on this little side project in my spare time (because toddler wrangling and house renovating weren’t keeping me busy enough!) as I’m constantly asked for recommendations for Japan and thought this might be a fun way to share my personal picks. As I say in the guide, I’m by no means an authority on all things Japan, but people tend to enjoy personal recommendations in a country like Japan where the volume of what is on offer can be overwhelming.
Tokyo Stopover: A Mini Guide is a brief itinerary based on 3 days of travel in Tokyo, covering some of the bigger, more popular highlights as well as some of our favourite areas and places to eat and shop. We’ve hopefully set it out in a way that helps you navigate the city easily and gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture for a few days. If you guys are ever keen, I’d be interested in doing a more in-depth itinerary covering more areas, favourite eats and maybe even more cities!
